About this event in the Jura in Montain
Theater and debate in Montain
Having lost his parish after his secret relationship with a young man was revealed, Father Jérôme becomes a confidant hearing the confessions of fellow clergymen leading double lives. When he receives a harrowing confession from Father Grésieux, he alerts the authorities but agrees to keep quiet about the cardinal's cover-up.
Later, while back in pastoral ministry, a former victim of Father Grésieux confronts him, demanding the testimony he refused to provide, sparking an intense and profound dialogue between the two men.
Staged in an intimate and atypical format, this production by Cie l'Harmonie Communale will be followed by a panel discussion featuring journalist Emma Conquet, Manon Rousselot-Pailley (CESE member and former national president of the MRJC), and the artistic team.
